Val Cain (nee Yates) got the surprise, nay shock of her life on Sat 30th August 2003. Her family arranged a party for her keeping her well and truly in the dark. They made a list of all the lies they had told over the months to achieve this.Having been to several surprise parties herself over the years, she had always said that if anyone did that to her she would turn around and walk out. Well she didn't, instead she had a great night with lots of family, friends and a contingent from the old days at Barton Hall. Thanks Sam, Carl and Zoe for a great night.
